The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed this Monday that, on his international tour, he felt the special respect that the world has for the people of Venezuela, because, despite the sanctions of the United States of America (USA) it has been possible to reactivate the productive apparatus of the country:

We felt in private conversations, a special respect for the struggle of the people of Venezuela, for the resistance of the people of Venezuela, for the achievements. There is a global perception of victory, of progress, of recovery, of the people of Venezuela”, said the Venezuelan head of state during a meeting of the Vice Presidential Council.

In statements broadcast by the Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) channel, the Venezuelan president pointed out that, on the international tour, “Venezuela’s voice was raised (…) We are returning from this necessary tour. I have the tour report, I’ve been studying it completely. We went by those worlds, with much love, carrying the message of our people, carrying the truth of Venezuela, they received us with honors, affection, sincerity, with a deep feeling of solidarity”, he stressed.

The head of state explained that, in Turkey, was reviewed the progress made in recent years, and he highlighted the joint cooperation with this Eurasian country in the areas of science, technology and health. “We review how we have managed to advance, in deep cooperation, in science, technology, health, adapting the agendas together with Turkey, thinking big, Turkey is one of the most important emerging powers in Eurasia”, he pointed out.

Likewise, he stated that he was proud of the new world that is beyond Venezuelan borders and praised “the affection, solidarity and desire to work in this new world with Venezuela (…) Beyond our borders, one sees how imposing, the greatness of the main cities of the countries we visited, and realizes that another world, a new world, has already been born”, said the president.

He also pointed out that, upon his arrival in Algeria, he confirmed the respect this country has for Venezuela: “In private conversations, we feel a special respect for the struggle of the people of Venezuela, for the resistance of the people of Venezuela, for the achievements, there is a global perception of victory, progress, concrete and real recovery of Venezuela, as see the leaders of the world”, he emphasized.

“With the president of Algeria we had long conversations about tourism, science and technology, health, education, in addition to ratifying the support and absolute solidarity of Venezuela to the cause of independence of the Saharawi Arab people”, he said.

In turn, he offered details of his arrival in the Islamic Republic of Iran. “We were visiting an industry with its own technology that has managed to build all the parts of thermoelectric turbine plants, turbines that produce 150 megawatts, they work with gas and they have the module to install up to 600 megawatts in real time”.

“We saw majestic things there, an electric vehicle, we saw first-hand the advances in science, in technology that today position Iran as one of the emerging powers in science and technology”, he said.

They manufacture all the parts for the oil and gas development of the refineries, it is 100% Iranian technology, it is impressive”, he added.

He called on the technologists of Venezuela “to work together for the future of the country taking advantage of the knowledge of Iran that they are willing to transfer to us”.

I call on the technologists to all; you are the future of science and technology in Venezuela, if Iran could, Venezuela could also (…) in these times the country that lags behind in science, technology and education will be enslaved by the imperial powers, but the one that advances in science and scientific development applied to the comprehensive development of the nation will be at the forefront, and that country will be Venezuela”, asserted the president.
