President Maduro begins Eurasian tour with broad cooperation agenda

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, arrived in Ankara, capital of Turkey, on Tuesday as part of the start of a Eurasian tour with a broad cooperation agenda. The meeting will have the objective of continuing to strengthen the stability of both nations. in the areas of science, technology, agriculture, transportation, tourism, culture and energy. In addition to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood.

It is important to note that Venezuela-Turkey relations have reached the highest and most comprehensive level of cooperation and brotherhood alliance.

Turkey opened one of its first embassies in Latin America in Caracas, after agreeing to establish diplomatic relations between the two nations through the exchange of diplomatic notes with the Venezuelan Government on December 29, 1950 in Washington, United States.

In January 2018, the Venezuelan head of state, Nicolás Maduro Moros, met with the Turkish Economy Minister, Nihat Zeybeckci, to deepen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
