Head of State celebrates 19 years of the first major electoral victory of Commander Chavez


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated 19 years of the first great electoral victory of Commander Hugo Chavez, revolutionary leader relegitimized by the people with 59% of the votes.
Through the account of the Twitter digital social network, @NicolasMaduro, the Head of State wrote: “The Venezuelan people, demonstrating their deeply democratic character, re-legitimized the Leader of the Revolution as President”.
On July 30, 2000, Commander Chávez won the presidential elections with 59% of the votes, called to legitimize public office as part of the new Constitution.
The leader of the Bolivarian Revolution made his first registration as a presidential candidate, before the Supreme Electoral Council (CSE), which led to formalize his political participation as a candidate of the 5th Republic Movement.
On February 2, 1999, President Chávez assumed power and promised the Venezuelan people a resounding transformation to the Magna Carta of 1961, in this way it was a great challenge that constituted the legitimization of public powers with the activation of the Constituent Power,  according to information of a special work of the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
