The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved this Wednesday the Mi Clap (Local Supply and Production Committees) Es Productivo (My Clap is Productive) Plan, and thus be able to strengthen production in the country.

During a work journey, the Venezuelan head of state explained that this plan includes the incorporation into production of 18,157 CLAPs, which is equivalent to 50% of all those found in the country.

This will be within a year, which will form a first phase:

More than 18,000 CLAPs enter an advanced production phase. In production we have lacked a lot, the time has come”, said the National President in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.

This plan, as explained President Maduro, will allow the promotion of the food program in the economic system and in the communal production cycle, through six vertices, among which stand out organization, productive training and self-sustainability.

Similarly, a key element – said the National President – is the “monitoring and control” of all the elements that will be put into operation in this new plan:

Many times one gives orders, approves correct plans, but the one who is going to execute them does not do it well and things do not work out. So you have to monitor, control, audit, in order to guarantee all the plans”, Maduro pointed out.

The Mi Clap Es Productivo Plan will also aim at sustained supply to the food programs School Feeding Program (PAE), Sovereign Field Fairs and Food Houses.

The Clap will also work to strengthen its distribution of the combos that are awarded to the more than seven million families served.
