Rodriguez: Opposition does not want a dialogue because they are entangled in their own trap

The Deputy for the Homeland Bloc, Hector Rodriguez, stressed this Sunday that while President Nicolas Maduro has strongly urged for a national dialogue in order to preserve peace and stability in the country, the Venezuelan opposition is still embroiled in their own trap
During an interview in the “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today) program, broadcast by Televen, he said that the dialogue promoted by the Executive is essential in order to ensure peace, to prevent coup-plotting actions such as those registered in April 2002 and to prevent violence to be imposed as a political tool.
Referring to the so-called “Takeover of Caracas”, scheduled by the Board of Unity for Thursday, September 1, Rodriguez recalled the “coup-plotting and violent” behavior of the opposition, and therefore he expects that the mobilization would not be the beginning of a new stage of ‘guarimbas’ (street riots).
Also, when asked about the existence of a conflict of powers between the Supreme Tribunal of Justice (TSJ) and the National Parliament, the deputy stressed that what exists in there is a power in conflict “since the arrival to the National Assembly of a counter-revolutionary political force, it has stood against all powers, “he said.
