Venezuela rejects recurrence of false positives generated from Colombia on the nation

The Chancellor of the Republic, Félix Plasencia, rejected this Tuesday the false positives spread by the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, about Venezuela, in the insistence on linking the nation with irregular groups:

It is not surprising that Mr. Duque and the Colombian government continue trying to spread their false positives throughout the world, which seem to be one of the specialties of misgovernment, after the production and trafficking of drugs, which continue to grow every year”, expressed Plasencia through his account on the Twitter social network:

It is not surprising that Mr. Duque and the Colombian government continue trying to spread their false positives around the world, which seem to be one of the specialties of misgovernment, after drug production and trafficking, which continue to grow every year”.

The Venezuelan diplomat’s statement comes after the Colombian president, after holding a meeting with Russian government officials, expressed his “concern” about alleged armed groups residing in Venezuela:

The tenant of Nariño Palace is lying, trying to blame Venezuela for the death of signatories of the Peace Agreements, which have been boycotted by his government from the beginning, massacring more than 1,000 social leaders, activists and former FARC combatants in last year”, said Plasencia.

In this sense, the Chancellor argued that “sub-president Duque will not export to Venezuela the fratricidal conflict of more than 70 years suffered by the Colombian people, and which forces 10 million people to live in permanent internal displacement due to violence and misgovernment. In Venezuela we are well aware of the structural drama suffered by the brotherly people of Colombia since more than 6 million Venezuelans of Colombian origin live together here in peace and harmony”, he said.

He remarked that “Duque will not be able to fool the world with his false positives. All of us in the region are concerned about his submission to Washington and the US military bases that his government hosts, as an imperial pawn in the anachronistic cold war scenario that they intend to impose”.

Meanwhile, Plasencia stressed that “Venezuela will continue to strengthen ties with Russia and all our strategic allies in the world and promote multisectoral exchanges, in order to further deepen and develop bilateral relations, in favor of the prosperity and security of our peoples”.
