The announcement was made this Monday by the Minister for Tourism, Stella Lugo, from the facilities of Parque Bolívar, in La Carlota, where will take place the 13th edition of the International Tourism Fair (Fitven) 2018.
At a press conference, she reported that up to date more than 80 companies have formalized their registration through the www.fitven.gob.ve website, and therefore she invited national entrepreneurs to register before Thursday, November 22.
The 11th edition of this event will be attended by 72 countries from Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, said the official in the company of the governor of Miranda state, Héctor Rodríguez, the president of the Conviasa airline, Ramón Velásquez, the vice minister of Development of Special Economic Zones, Juan Arias, and constituent Dario Vivas.
From Thursday, November 22nd until Sunday 25th, attendees of this event will be able to enjoy the 148 stand arranged in the Bolívar Park (20 gastronomy stands and 20 handicrafts stands) «to make known our country, its history, nature , culture and our love for the entire world».
Spaces for the debate:
The Fitven will serve as a framework for the development of a set of forums and seminars that will be open to the public, the Tourism Minister announced.
The first forum, on Special Economic Zones of Venezuela and Cuba, will be led by the Minister of People’s Power for Economy and Finances, Simón Zerpa, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade of Cuba, Roberto López.
The seminar on Resilience and Tourism of the Caribbean will include the participation of tourism authorities from Antigua and Barbuda, Cuba, Dominica and the General Secretariat of Associations of Caribbean States.
The cryptocurrency forum «Transforming the exchange in the tourism sector» will be in charge of the national superintendent of Cryptoactives and Related Activities, Joselit Ramírez; while the forum Tourism 3.0 and Social Networks, will have the address of José Enrique Alegría, a specialist in digital marketing.
