This Wednesday, the National Assembly (AN) formally notified the Republican Moral Council about the start of the legislative sessions term, corresponding to 2022.
The official notice was made at the headquarters of the Comptroller General of the Republic, where was held the first session of the year of the Republican Moral Council.
This session was attended by Elvis Amoroso, President of the Republican Moral Council and Comptroller General of the Republic, Alfredo Ruiz, the Ombudsman; Tarek William Saab, Attorney General of the Republic and, a delegation of deputies from the Legislative Power, headed by the first vice president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Iris Valera
Valera ratified the start of the parliamentary cycle (2022), on January 5.
The president of the Republican Moral Council, Elvis Amoroso, expressed his approval for the re-election of the new authorities of the Venezuelan Parliament, recalling that in the past there was an Assembly that acted against the Venezuelan people, completely detaching itself from the constitutional mandate.
For her part, the first vice president of the AN, Iris Valera, stressed that during the first legislative year of this new five-year period, an approximate of 38 laws were approved and received, which were presented by the different state agencies. In the same way, she indicated that Venezuela has been a faithful witness to the recovery of the institutionality of the National Assembly.
