The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros announced that today he welcomed the new opposition governor of Barinas, Sergio Garrido:
“Today I called Sergio Garrido by phone and I welcomed him in the Presidential Office, where Bolívar’s swords are”, reported the President
Nicolás Maduro said in a meeting with parliamentarians of the National Assembly, that he is the President of all Venezuelans alike. He also pointed out that he offered support to Garrido and requested the construction of a new dialoguing opposition, one that repudiates the criminal sanctions.
