The National Electoral Council (CNE) and the European Union signed the Administrative Agreement on the Electoral Observation Mission.
The document establishes that the European Electoral Observation Mission will maintain an impartial, objective conduct, will respect the independence, sovereignty and self-determination of Venezuela.
In addition, it will attend the national and international legal system of the United Nations, especially related to accompaniment, oversight and international observation.
This agreement is derived from the invitation made by the CNE to the European Union on May 17, 2021, to guarantee the greatest possible presence of international missions, in the Regional and Municipal Elections scheduled for November 21.
