CNE and the Latin American Council of Electoral Experts signed an agreement for NOV-21 elections

The National Electoral Council and the Latin American Council of Electoral Experts signed an agreement establishing the conditions that the electoral body will deploy in the Regional and Municipal Elections on November 21.

The agreement empowers the Council of Electoral Experts of Latin America to witness each of the stages of the Venezuelan electoral process, to participate in audits, to attend the voting centers and to witness the exercise of suffrage.

Pedro Calzadilla, president of the National Electoral Council, reiterated the commitment to comply with the recommendations issued by the Council of Electoral Experts to improve the Venezuelan electoral model.

Nicanor Moscoso, president of the Latin American Council of Electoral Experts, stated that the mission will transmit to the world whatever it sees during the electoral process.

The Latin American Council of Electoral Experts is an independent international body, made up of 50 former presidents and former magistrates from different countries in the region.
