A delegation of parliamentarians of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (AN), held important work meetings in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, with the president of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Duarte Pacheco and the secretary general, Martin Chungong.
Jorge Rodríguez Gómez, president of the national parliament, informed via twitter that Venezuela extended an invitation to the Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, to visit the country and know the truth about Venezuela:
«Go beyond media agendas and artful attacks and learn about the work for peace and reconciliation that the new National Assembly has undertaken», wrote Deputy Rodriguez Gomez, in his account @jorgerpsuv.
The Inter-Parliamentary Union is the international organization of parliaments and is the only one that represents the legislative branch of government on a global scale.
