National Assembly suspended ordinary sessions this week

The National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, suspended the ordinary sessions scheduled for the corresponding week, between April 5 and 9, 2021.

The board of directors of the National Parliament reported that the decision is intended to contribute to preventive measures against the Covid-19 pandemic, adopted by the National Executive Branch.

Between Monday 5 and Friday 9 April, there will be no face-to-face work meetings; the deputies and deputies, will have to use the telematic means, to carry out the activities that correspond to them.

In addition, the board of directors of the National Assembly asked all the people of Venezuela to strictly comply with the radical quarantine, decreed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in order to control the new wave of infections.
