Venezuela expresses condolences for Brazilian athletes who died after plane crash


Through a communiqué, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed its condolences for the death of some of the members of the Chapecoense soccer team from Brazil, following the plane crash in the vicinity of Medellín, Colombia, where they were heading to play a match.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government and the Venezuelan people, expresses his deepest condolences and solidarity with the Brazilian people, for the sad death of members of the Chapecoense soccer team from Brazil, in the plane crash that happened near the city of Medellín, Colombia.
The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its wishes for the prompt recovery of the survivors and expresses its solidarity with the families of the fatal victims of the crew, journalists, coaches and players of the Chapecoense team, to whom we send our words of mourning and accompaniment in these unlucky moments.
