Venezuela receives more than 35 tons of supplies and equipment to fight Covid-19

More than 35 tons of supplies and medical equipment arrived in the country, thanks to the integral strategic alliance between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the People’s Republic of China.

The shipment, which arrived on the 12th Conviasa flight, corresponding to the humanitarian airlift established with China, also received 540,000 PCR tests to diagnose Covid-19, as well as drugs to treat chronic diseases.

The Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, affirmed that Venezuela has the unconditional cooperation of the great powers of the world: “powers for peace, humanitarian powers, that join forces to protect the life of the Venezuelan people.”

The arrival of supplies coincides with the first anniversary of the humanitarian Venezuela-China alliance and with the 17 years of our Conviasa airline which, despite the blockade imposed by the United States, guarantees the arrival of supplies and equipment to guarantee the well-being of all Venezuelans.

To date, Venezuela has received 500,000 vaccines against Covid-19, 2,210,000 rapid detection tests, and more than 1,330 million PCR diagnostic kits and 5 ambulances.
