Venezuela celebrates UN resolution against sanctions

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, held the adoption of the resolution on the negative impact of coercive sanctions imposed by the Government of the United States against Venezuela.

The Human Rights Council of the United Nations Organization (UN) urged all States to stop adopting, maintaining or implementing unilateral coercive measures.

The Head of State, reiterated that it is undeniable the criminal damage that have caused the sanctions, against the life of Venezuelans and the free nations of the world. While the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreza, repudiated the performance of some countries that voted against the resolution.

This Tuesday, March 23, 2021, the Human Rights Council of the UN, approved by a majority, a resolution on the negative impact of unilateral sanctions in the enjoyment of human rights.
