Began in Venezuela mass production and distribution plan for Carvativir

Starting this week, Carvativir (antiviral drug) will be distributed by the thousands to all the states of Venezuela, good news for everyone”, as announced this Sunday by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, when offering the usual weekly balance of the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19.

In this sense, the Head of State asserted that “in a plan for the massive production of Carvativir, already this week we have begun its distribution by the thousands to all the states of the country, to all CDIs (Integral Diagnostic Centers), to all outpatient clinics, to all sentinel hospitals in the country”.

He also assured that this antiviral will be distributed to private clinics that require it, as well as to the public FarmaPatria network “which is distributing it.”

“I am vigilant of the distribution of Carvativir so that it reaches everywhere,” stressed the Venezuelan president, while, at the time, indicated that in approximately three weeks, Carvativir will be marketed in the main pharmacies of the national territory “along with its application guide”.

It is used as a prophylactic treatment to strengthen health and curative, therapeutic for asymptomatic, mild, moderate and severe cases of Coronavirus. The recovery of people sick with Coronavirus in real time is shocking,” he said.

Likewise, he stressed that there are international orders “from several countries that have already requested it.”

It should be remembered that Carvativir, also called “miracle drops of José Gregorio Hernández”, was presented in January of this year, as a drug capable of neutralizing SARS-CoV-2, being incorporated into the treatment protocols against COVID-19 in Venezuela.
