CEO-FANB must propose security plan to end armed gangs

The Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEO-FANB) shall propose to the Executive a plan to end with the armed gangs in Venezuela, to strengthen the strategies already implemented and to accelerate the results.
“The issue of crime in Venezuela has passed the limit of insecurity problems, is part of the unconventional warfare and we have enough evidences of this”, justified the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, in a national joint radio and television broadcast.
In that order, the military institution must propose methods to end the paramilitary groups that, in the words of the Head of State, “abduct, kill and assault our people”.
“When we overcome this we will have a country with a buoyant force. 2016 has been a difficult year, but it is the launching of a new sustainable model, not dependent on oil”, he said.
The head of the CEO-FANB and Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, promised to put the proposal to the Executive as soon as possible.
