Venezuela conducts tests on third clinical phase of antiviral produced in the country

President Nicolás Maduro announced this Sunday, by telephone, in a contact with the Presidential Commission, for the care of COVID-19, that in the country have been made advances in terms of research and scientific work, and that at the moment, they are performing molecular tests of an antiviral drug made in Venezuela.

The Head of State took advantage of requesting the Presidential Commission, led by Delcy Rodriguez, and the Scientific Council, to evaluate the treatments for patients with COVID, which Russia is currently discovering, and requested a prompt response to these proceedings.

He said that while the vaccine arrives; it is essential to strengthen treatments.
