President Maduro will visit Russia in the coming days


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, will soon visit the Russian Federation, as reported on Thursday the Foreign Ministry of the European nation:.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela announced the prompt visit of the President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro to Moscow”, wrote the Russian chancellery on the Twitter social network.
In this regard, indicated that in a statement, the Government of Venezuela thanked the contribution made by Russia to consolidate peace in the nation, currently subjected to an attack and an economic and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States (USA).
Until now, the exact date of the visit of the Venezuelan head of State to Moscow has not been disclosed. President Nicolás Maduro’s last visit to Russia took place last December.
Since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, led by commander Hugo Chávez, Venezuela and Russia have signed more than 260 cooperation agreements in areas such as medicine, tourism, agriculture, mining and oil.
The last agreement signed between both nations occurred last Sunday, when Venezuela and Russia signed an alliance between the Espromed Bio company (Venezuela) and the Russian pharmaceutical company Geropharm for the production of insulin in the South American nation.
This agreement provides that Russia provides the country with 680,000 of this drug per month, which represents 8.2 million units per year, as well as the technological development and training of personnel – taught by the Russian pharmaceutical company – for the local production of insulin.
