President Maduro invites UN to be observers in DEC-6 parliamentary elections

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, invited the Secretary General of the United Nations to send a technical commission to accompany the election process for a new National Assembly next Sunday, December 6.

In his speech at the High Level Meeting to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations (UN), the National President asserted that this year there will be elections in Venezuela, a nation that will be open to the world, ratifying its democratic, free and sovereigncharacter.

At this High Level meeting, President Maduro denounced that once again  the Venezuelan people have been the victim, during all these years, of multiform aggressions, criminal and illegal sanctions, and coercive measures, “But our Homeland stands here. If the world defeated fascism 75 years ago, at this stage the world will be able to defeat those who want to impose themselves as the dominant hegemon, it will be able to defeat imperialist ideas and it will be able to defeat neo-fascism, we are sure of it”, emphasized the Venezuelan dignitary

He stressed that Venezuela is standing and strengthened, to advance towards the construction of a new world, without hegemonic empires.
