Venezuela strengthens cooperation ties with Turkey in judicial matters


In order to strengthen and strengthen cooperation ties in the judicial field, between Venezuela and Turkey, the president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Maikel Moreno, held a meeting with the Minister of Justice of the Middle Eastern country, Abdulhamit Gül.
The information was released by Moreno through his official account on Twitter.
During this meeting, the president of the TSJ said “that both countries are strategic allies, and proof of this is the series of meetings held with the Turkish judicial authorities, subscribing last year the Istanbul Declaration on Judicial Transparency”.
Moreno said that “this meeting contributes to the strengthening of the relations of both countries, friendly nations that share the same challenges against those who intend to threaten their sovereignty and independence, and which work together to counteract any interventionist claim”.
Venezuela and Turkey will work on the signing of a mutual support agreement in judicial matters, as well as the creation of links of work teams to assist in extradition processes between the two countries.
After the meeting with the Turkish Minister of Justice, Moreno toured the facilities of the Ankara Open Prison penitentiary center.
