From the headquarters of the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Relations, representatives of the Bolivarian Government held a work meeting on health matters with the government teams of the Islamic Republic of Iran, via videoconference, in compliance with the agreements established by Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Hasán Rouhaní in a telephone conversation held on Monday, April 13.

In the videoconference, the Deputy Minister for Integral Health, María Gabriela Miquilareno, along with the specialist team of the Ministry of People’s Power for Health, exchanged experiences, clinical protocols and prevention measures of Covid-19 with the members of the Iranian multidisciplinary team, in the context of the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the unilateral coercive measures that weigh on both countries, illegally imposed by the government of the United States.
