The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that in the last 24 hours eight new cases of Covid-19 were registered, with a total of 143 infections in the national territory.
During a meeting at Miraflores Palace, he specified that of the 143 infections, a total of 41 people have successfully recovered, which represents 28% of the total number of infected, while 46 are in quarantine, 24 are admitted to Diagnostic Centers Comprehensive (CDI), 17 are public hospitals, 12 are in private clinics and 3 people have lost their lives.
Of the 8 new cases of contagion, 3 are residents of the Aragua state, 4 of Miranda, 1 of the Sucre state. With these figures, Miranda state amounts to 57 positive cases, Caracas is in second position with 26 cases, and Aragua state has 18.
He indicated that until the night of this Tuesday, a total of 16,489,198 IDs have answered the health survey through the Patria System, which has produced 83,511 prioritized cases of which 61,739 people have been visited house by house.
