Government ratifies its willingness to continue dialogue with the opposition

“Defending peace we went to the Dominican Republic and we managed to get the Venezuelan opposition to abandon its record of violent fights, of burning people, of closing streets, of killings, of uncertainty, of anxiety, and to embark on the path of dialogue, of negotiation, to seek the future agreement of peaceful coexistence in Venezuela”.

This was stated this Sunday by the Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information at the beginning of the broadcast of program number 98 of “Los Domingos con Maduro” (Sundays with Maduro),

The high official stressed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to maintain the pace of dialogue for peace in the country, and on the path of negotiation to seek a future agreement of coexistence between the two models that face in the country.

In his speech, Rodriguez announced that as a result of the meeting between the Government and the opposition this Friday and Saturday in the Dominican Republic, important progress was made in that all the agenda items were discussed for the preparation of the final agreement, on next December 15.
