Venezuela denounces to Unesco the impact of unilateral measures by the United States amidst Covid-19 pandemic

The Minister for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, denounced that the unilateral and coercive measures imposed by the United States against Venezuela, represent a crime by preventing the necessary international cooperation to contain the spread of Covid-19.

This Monday, the minister participated in a virtual meeting of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), where she exposed the negative impact of the policy of the US government. against the Venezuelan people, which affects the acquisition of medicines and food, as well as the request for aid from international organizations to face the pandemic:
