Venezuela denounced illegal incursion of US aircraft

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, denounced at a press conference on Tuesday the entry into Venezuelan airspace of a military aircraft used by the US for espionage.
During a national and international media press conference, from the Ayacucho Hall in the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, the President informed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected the illegal overflights in our country of a US, Boeing 707 spy plane, model E- 3 Sentry.
This kind of aircraft is used by the US to support communications of armed groups or to prepare conditions for using electronic equipment.
“It’s a plane with lethal technical capacity in the communications field and with weapons of espionage,” said the President, at the same time as he explained that illegal incursions are part of the international campaign against the country, and said that Venezuela has been the victim of other destabilizing actions which he will make known in the coming days.
Maduro reported that the first raid took place on May 11 at 6:09 a.m. , and after that the plane made a new illegal overflight on May 13 at 6:03 a.m. “These illegal incursions will be protested to the US Government” he said.
