Venezuela and Turkey deepen bilateral agreements

On the occasion of celebrating the 70th anniversary of bilateral relations between Turkey and Venezuela this year, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with her Turkish counterpart, Fuat Oktay, as part of a joint work agenda to deepen brotherhood ties.

Both authorities reviewed bilateral and multilateral cooperation mechanisms, while reaffirming management in strategic areas in favor of the development of nations.

Bilateral alliances between Venezuela and Turkey are part of the policy of building of a multi-center and multi-polar world promoted by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, on the basis of mutual respect for sovereignty and foreign non-intervention.
