The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, delivered on Sunday the traditional Christmas message, where he called on the people to consolidate peace and renew hope in the country:
“Christmas is the most beautiful moment of the year, the moment when hope is renewed with the arrival of the child God and his message of peace and love because the light will always overcome the darkness, the song will always beat the sadness» , said the Venezuelan head of state from Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, next to the first fighter woman, Cilia Flores, his family, as well as different performers of the Venezuelan music.
“I wish you my country, my beloved country, along with my family, a Christmas full of love, a love full of dreams and a happy, prosperous and victorious 2020. Long live Venezuela!”, added the National President in his message transmitted in a joint radio and television broadcast.
The carol “Slient night”; the venezuelan aguinaldos “Niño Lindo”, “La Jornada (Din, din, din) and the song “Venezuela”, harmonized the facilities of the government house, which was decorated with lights and the traditional manger.
For its part, the first fighter woman, Cilia Flores, urged the Venezuelan people to celebrate Christmas with the family and, with the joy of the children, to celebrate the holidays in union and peace.
“With these boys and girls, with their joy and their smiles, I can say that throughout the country can be breathed a climate of union, happiness and peace. To the sound of our traditions, in every home, in every town and in every city we recognize ourselves as one family: Venezuela”, said the first fighter woman.
