The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged Venezuelans to remain on alert against the coup threat issued on Monday by his US counterpart, Donald Trump, against Venezuela.
From Miraflores Palace, he said that after leading the coup d’etat against the Bolivian leader, Evo Morales, the US administration intends to undermine the stability of Venezuela and Nicaragua:
“People, be on alert, let’s go to combat! So do they want to fight? We will give them a fight for the Homeland, the sovereignty and the Bolivarian Revolution. Come on, we’re ready!” He emphasized.
Previously, Donald Trump pointed out that the consummation of the coup plan in Bolivia «sends a strong signal” to the governments of Nicaragua and Venezuela, nations that face unilateral coercive measures imposed by Washington.
