President Nicolás Maduro held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart Hassan Rouhaníi


Prior to his participation in the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement (NAM), the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified alliances and brotherhood with the Islamic Republic of Iran, after holding a bilateral meeting with his counterpart, Hassan Rouhani.
As part of his second official visit to Azerbaijan, the Venezuelan Head of State and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, strengthened relations between the two nations.
It should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Venezuela are victims of unilateral and coercive measures by the United States Government.
After this meeting to strengthen relations between Iran and Venezuela, the National President arrived at the Baku Convention Center, where he was received by his counterpart from Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, with a strong handshake and where they took the opportunity to take pictures .
Earlier, President Maduro, when landing at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, said: “We will deliver the presidency with a powerful movement, strengthened in every way, not only in the multilateral system, but in everything that is United Nations system”.
