President Maduro: 214 years ago the Father of the Homeland swore to free our America from oppressive chains

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated this Thursday 214 years of the historic oath of the Father of the Homeland, Simón Bolívar, at the Monte Sacro, in which he swore to free the peoples of the Americas, from the oppression of the Spanish yoke.
“A day like today, the young Bolívar, tired of injustices, swore, in the historic Monte Sacro, to free our Americas from the oppressive chains of the Spanish empire. That spirit of struggle for the libertarian cause continues latent in the hearts of those who love the Homeland”, wrote the Head of State on the Twitter social network.
In the same publication, he shared an audiovisual that reflects the behavior that the Venezuelan people have had, in difficult times.
The National President said that this people does not rest, nor bends in spite of the constant attacks by the administration of the United States Government, which aims to weaken the homeland to achieve its goals.
This oath is currently in force thanks to the people and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), which remains in the fight for freedom that was granted by Liberator Simón Bolívar, more than 200 years ago.
