TSJ Rejects blockade and freezing of assets of Venezuela by the US

“The Supreme Court categorically rejects the policy of systematic aggression, blocking and freezing of all assets of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela by US imperialism against the Venezuelan people, whose sole objective is to repress democracy Venezuelan and turn our society and its institutions into appendices of the US Government.
The Venezuelan people continue their libertarian crusade at the cost of sanctions and aggressions that only weaken the quality of life of our heroic country, which resists selling its dignity and kneeling before barbaric actions, only comparable to crimes against humanity directed against of certain vulnerable populations of the world.
The Venezuelan Justice will be attentive to severely punish any attempt to support sectors whose purpose is to limit the basic needs of our people, today more than ever, we will preserve the rights of Venezuelans and with more emphasis, on those that guarantee collective well-being of our society.
Acts of this magnitude on the part of the interventionist and genocidal Government of the United States, must be exposed in the international community as a true claim to injure the political will of a people and their human rights.
We continue to invoke our democratic character and our willingness to build sincere channels of dialogue, but we will not succumb to the blackmail of those who seek access to power through other means, other than those provided for in our Constitution and laws.
The Supreme Court of Justice and the competent Courts of the country will continue to guarantee the rights of the Venezuelan people and punish any attempt to undermine the integral sovereignty of our Nation and the supreme right to choose their destiny.
As guarantors of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, we urge the Bolivarian Government to take the necessary actions to mitigate the impact on the most vulnerable sectors, and also the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, to counteract the imperialist aggression and remain alert to any threat against our sovereignty.
Our institution stands firm, preserving our rule of law and acting in accordance with the Constitution”.
