Venezuela repudiates US cynicism before accusations of human rights violation

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela vindicates before the International Community its constitutional status as a democratic and social State of law and justice, which advocates, as superior values of its legal system, the pre-eminence of human rights, whose enjoyment and protection are guaranteed according to the principles of progressivity, without any kind of discrimination, through a robust institutional scaffolding.
By incorporating the defense of Human Rights as a State policy, the Bolivarian Revolution splits in two the Venezuelan history in this matter. Gone are the decades in which the violation of the fundamental rights of the population was the rule, endorsed by the authorities of that time and controlled by the United States’ own Intelligence Agency. It is no secret that the Venezuelan political intelligence services were directed by sinister CIA agents, such as the renowned terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, known for implanting atrocious techniques of torture and persecution. Not in vain, it was during the fake Venezuelan democracy of the second half of the 20th century that emerged the figure of the political disappeared, commonly applied later in the dictatorships of the south cone, through the Condor Plan.
In this regard, Venezuela categorically rejects the accusations leveled against it regarding respect for human rights, particularly from the imperialist government of the United States, whose cynicism is such that, despite having been constituted as the greatest violator of human rights of the history of humanity, starting from the creation of bloody wars for natural resources, inhumane economic blockades, validation of methods of torture inside and outside their territory, denigrating treatment to immigrants, including the separation of families and the caging of minors among other innumerable faults against human dignity in the whole world, allows itself to make accusations against the Venezuelan State on cases in which the justice system has acted immediately, with diligence and firmness, to sanction with all the weight of the law to anyone who was responsible during the development of the investigations.
It corresponds to make a similar question to these governments that today raise their voices against Venezuela, while ratifying their status as satellites of the United States, by keeping a shameful silence before the facts that show that the current head of the Central Intelligence Agency was a member of the staff of US attorneys responsible of torturing combatants detained in clandestine centers, in many cases within their own territories. Some of these governments even contribute to the persecution unleashed against honorable human rights defenders such as Julian Assange, Chelsea Manning and other peace activists for their denunciation of serious war crimes that the peoples of the world have the right to know about.
The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, with the certainty that truth and justice will prevail, denounces these interventionist actions whose sole purpose is to generate new matrixes in the public opinion to attempt against peace and stability in the country. Nothing, no one will prevent Venezuela to keep deepening its democratic model, always based on the transversal nature of the policies of protection, guarantee and defense of the human rights of its population”.
