Maduro at the closure of 2018: “No empire can seize our right to be happy”

“No empire can seize our right to be happy”, ratified this Wednesday the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, regarding the closure of 2018, amidst the economic and financial sanctions imposed by the Government of the U.S.A.

Through his Twitter account, the Venezuelan Head of State stressed that the current year represented a period of difficulties, but also of victories in the democratic field:

“We will conclude with joy a 2018 of historic victories, giving a start to 2019, under the best conditions, to make Venezuela a prosperous and impregnable homeland. No empire will ever able to snatch our right to be happy”, he said.
