The US promotes suffering of the Venezuelan people to achieve a change of Government

The political analyst and journalist, José Vicente Rangel, shared on Sunday statements made by the (former) US ambassador in Venezuela, William Brownfield, who says that the American nation must make Venezuelans suffer in order to achieve a change of government.

“A “shock language” is the first aggression against sovereignty, an action that is accompanied by military invasions, coups d’état and terrorist plans in independent nations”, said political analyst José Vicente Rangel.

“Attacks begin almost always through words, fascism always struck using a shock language that is then reinforced with concrete actions”, he said, referring to a statement issued by the former ambassador of the United States in Venezuela, William Brownfield.

As it may be recalled, on October 16 the US diplomat said that the solution to the situation that Venezuela is going through would be to “accelerate the collapse,” even if the strategy results in “a period of greater suffering, months or perhaps years”, as reviewed Correo del Orinoco.

“This powerful nation, so advanced in science and technology, with undoubted cultural achievements and extraordinary achievements, is rotten inside and it is made evident on the revealing language of those who direct it”, he added, at the beginning of his “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today) program.

He indicated that Brownfield’s recommendation will surely be well received by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, who did not rule out the option of a military intervention in Venezuelan territory. However, he noted that the US president knows that an operation of this magnitude “would have a high cost”.
