The National Electoral Council (CNE) will hold on Monday the act of choosing positions on the ballot for the candidates for the municipal council elections of next December 9.
According to the electoral schedule, on Tuesday, October 9, it will correspond to regional political organizations to choose their position on the ballot.
Likewise, it is established that between November 3 and 9 they will substitute and modify nominations of candidates by list, which are not reflected in the ballot, while the nominations will be made in the period between November 3 and 29.
Of the 4,900 positions that will be elected on December 9, 1,703 will be elected by name, 685 by list and 69 by indigenous communities.
