The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, launched on Monday the entry into operation of the Petro digital currency, to boost international trade and combat the outrages that has produced the fourth-generation war that is being executed against Venezuela .
This action will provide an economic balance in the Nation regarding the Program for Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity, launched by the National Executive on August 20 this year.
A plan that promotes fiscal and tax balance; promotes a new exchange policy; defends the salary of Venezuelans; provides stability in prices; increases oil production, agroindustrial, services, among others; boosts foreign currency income; enhances the expansion and consolidation of Petro; It establishes transport policies in order to eradicate extraction (smuggling) contraband, and guarantees the social protection of the people through the strengthening of the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card) system.
It should be noted that Venezuela is the first country to create a virtual currency based on its natural wealth.
