FANB ratifies defense of the nation’s sovereignty before external threats

Admiral in Chief A / J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, ratified on Sunday the defense of the sovereignty of Venezuela before the siege and diplomatic harassment of the United States and sectors of the international right wing.

During his participation in the José Vicente Hoy (José Vicente Today) program, broadcast by the private TV station Televen, the head of the Operational Strategic Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (CEOFANB), said that the Executive branch has taken strategic decisions to ensure the safety of the Venezuelan people:

“We know very clearly the intentions of the Government of the United States, something public and notorious, as it has directed a policy of harassment, of diplomatic pressure, of siege, along with different governments of the far right wing that are in our periphery”, he warned.

In this regard, Ceballos indicated that the National Government has very strong allies, demonstrated in the levels of cooperation between several countries such as Russia, China, Cuba and Turkey, among many others.

“These cooperation strategies are allowing us to move ahead as a complement to a great policy aimed at stabilizing ourselves in the economic and social sectors. Before the threat of aggression we have to launch strategies to protect sovereignty”, he said.

In this sort of ideas, Ceballos reiterated the FANB will remain united with the people to advance in the Program of Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity directed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro:

“We have changed the system with the unity of the people (…) We also prepare ourselves to be able to innovate and self-sustain, despite the blockages imposed on us from the North”.

“Venezuela has not been, and is not isolated, we have important allies and many people support us despite the policies of their governments are adversely affecting the country”, said the senior official detailing the strategies maintained by the Bolivarian Government directly with other nations.
