Venezuela rejects terrorist attack against military base in Nigeria

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejected this Thursday the terrorist attack perpetrated against a military base in Nigeria, last Monday, leaving a balance of 48 Nigerian soldiers killed.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry: “The Bolivarian Government expresses its condolences to the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and to the relatives of the victims who died in these lamentable attacks, and expresses its solidarity with the Nigerian people in these moments of mourning”.

“The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its strongest rejection of the terrorist attacks that resulted in the death of forty-eight soldiers, which occurred at a military base in the North of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Monday, September 3, 2018, and which was attributed to the Boko Haram group.

The Bolivarian Government expresses its condolences to the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and to the relatives of the victims who died in these lamentable attacks, and expresses its solidarity in these moments of mourning with the Nigerian people.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to solidarity with our African brothers based on respect for sovereignty and the rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations”.
