Socialist leader Diosdado Cabello reported on Wednesday that the revolutionary forces will march next Monday in favor of peace and in repudiation of the terrorist actions registered last weekend against the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro:
“On Monday we are going to march for peace. Pretty much in Red we will go, a great national march. Red of freedom, of justice, of peace”, he said in his program “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer), broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
In this sense, Cabello emphasized that Venezuelan politics must condemn the use of terrorist methods to impose a position:
“Venezuelan politics repudiates, and it must repudiate, true politics must repudiate the use of terrorism as a tool of political ideas. As it has been very complicated (for the right wing) to win elections to the Bolivarian Revolution, they have no other option but to go to terrorism”, he stressed.
“Everything that has happened in Venezuela is a great laboratory and our people have always risen with dignity. Today we raise our voice again against terrorism”, added the president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).
He stressed that to avoid this kind of violent actions – which threaten the stability and peace of the Republic – it is necessary to strengthen the mechanisms for the imposition of justice.
