Know here the chronology of the assassination attempt against President Maduro

The terrorists involved in the assassination attempt against the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, executed last Saturday, would receive a payment of 50 million dollars and stay in the United States.

Among the possible intellectual authors of the attack that left a balance of seven injured state security officials is Rayder Russo, a.k.a. Pico, who is residing in Colombia; and Osman Delgado, financier and resident in the United States (USA).

The operation, called “Yunque-Martillo” (Anvil-Hammer), had the main objective of detonating two drones in the presidential platform: one on the top of the platform, and another in its front area. This operation had the participation of the retired sergeant of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) Juan Carlos Monasterio (a.k.a. Bons), also involved in the attacks on the Paramacay Front. Monasterio, was in charge of hiring 11 people, who participated in the “guarimbas” (riots) of 2014 and 2017 to execute the actions.

In this sense, a.k.a. Bons, who is detained and placed at the order of the authorities, explained that this attack had as an initial plan to be carried out in the parade on July 5, however, it was not carried out because the drones had not arrived yet to the country.

The Head of State, emphasized that the location for August 4 was confirmed to terrorist groups last Friday, when it was decided not to perform the act in Los Próceres, as is the tradition in presidential acts that have reference to the components of the Bolivarian National Armed Force; but on the Bolívar Avenue.

“They had the opportunity to study, to program, starting from the placing of the act on Bolívar Avenue, and received confirmation on Friday afternoon”, he said. On the other hand, he highlighted the work done by the inhabitants of the area, who, while the presidential act was being held on the Bolivar Avenue, noticed the strange behavior of two people who got out of a Chevrolet vehicle and lifted off the drone.

“How were these people captured? Thanks to the popular intelligence, because a group of Venezuelans from that area, while the event was taking place, saw the strange attitude of some trucks that arrived and from where some strange individuals got off and put some drones into operation. (…) I want to pay homage and applaud the popular courage”, added President Nicolás Maduro.
