Chancellor Arreaza: Costa Rica demonstrates ignorance about Venezuelan political reality

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, responded on Thursday to the statements issued by the Foreign Ministry of Costa Rica, in which the results of the regional elections on October 15 are being disowned, inviting the Central American Government to regain its dignity and independence.

Arreaza, who responded to the statement through his Twitter account, said that this document demonstrates absolute ignorance of the national political reality.

He described the Costa Rican Government’s stance as “embarrassing” and said it would lend itself to the US Government’s game to attack Venezuela.

In this sense, he invited the administration of Luis Guillermo Solís to “Stop subordinating itself to the Trump administration and regaining its dignity and independence”.

The Chancellor was emphatic in pointing out that no Government in the world has the power to disown the Venezuelan institutions.
