The Percepción XXI (Perception 21) pollster company published an interview where a 95 percent of Venezuelans reject the looting driven by the Venezuelan right wing, and a 65 percent qualified it as vandalic acts.
Simon Cordova, technical director of Percepcion XXI, assured that the investigation that was conducted from June 13 to 17 at a national level, it was known that a 33 percent of respondents are from the opposition, and yet qualified the looting as vandalism acts.
He also said that a 95 percent of respondents do not support looting, which concludes “that people do not want to return to the past, does not want violence, what they want is for the country to know how you can prevent such acts of violence” he added.
During an interview granted to the “En Tres y Dos” (Between Three and Two) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Television, Cordova added that Venezuelans are aware that the acts committed in the territory are caused by vandalism and “not because the people is hungry.”
He added that within the survey it was known that a 72.5 percent of Venezuelans support that the Bolivarian National Police and other agencies get involved and ensure the constitutional order.
