The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the State security forces will capture all terrorists involved in acts of violence in the last two days in several cities of the country.
Upon receiving a massive mobilization of the people of Caracas at Miraflores Palace, Maduro denounced that the violent actions respond to «a planned coup d’etat.»
«They (the opposition) said 15 days before that they were not going to recognize the CNE, and they dedicated themselves to put money from Colombian drug trafficking, money from Elon Musk and the United States government (US) to arm the new criminal gangs,» he detailed.
Likewise, he emphasized that what happened yesterday in the country «was planned in order to intimidate the people, to stain peace and the electoral process.»
He blamed the extreme right wing leaders Edmundo González Urrutia and María Corina Machado for the fascist acts that have taken place in the country: “Mr. González Urrutia, do assume your responsibility for the creation of these fascist commandos.”
Campaign for peace:
President Maduro stressed that his electoral campaign for the reelection was one of peace, despite the threats from the extremist opposition sector: “I was a threatened candidate, but I decided to defy the threat. I could not announce that I was going to any event in the country, because they had a group of hitmen, these criminals who went out hunting me down, to try to machine-gun me.”
For this reason, he recalled that he traveled all over the country, but he showed up in the communities without warning, “he would arrive suddenly, but we campaigned proactively, constructively, philosophically, programmatically.”
“They (the extreme right wing) did not campaign,” he said from the People’s Balcony in Miraflores Palace, where he received the revolutionary political forces in the company of the Chavista People, who traveled from the Petare, Catia, La Vega and El Valle parishes (in Caracas) in order to celebrate the victory and defend the peace of the Republic:
“I believe and have faith in our People, and I am certain that we will come out of this, and we will come out stronger, more united, safer, since no one and nothing will stop Venezuela’s path,” he said.
He stressed that “we have already seen this movie, and it ends with the victory of the noble People, with the victory of Peace, of the right to the future.”
On the other hand, the head of State said that they have managed to contain the terrorists and affirmed that “we will discover them and capture them all, and we will come out victorious from this once again.”
He criticized the silence of the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference: “I have not seen them come out to condemn the violence; they keep a complicit silence,” also as a reference to the acts of vandalism that the guarimberos (rioters) terrorists carried out against some religious images in the interior of the country.
Elon Musk’s obsession:
Maduro reiterated his denounce against American multimillionaire Elon Musk, who is one of the international financiers of the continental extreme right wing and who assumed a leading role in the destabilization against Venezuela: “Now it turns out that he became obsessed with taking over Venezuela and governing it from outside and he is largely responsible for the attacks and aggressions, it is an alliance of the global extreme right wing, of the fascist extreme right wing, of drug trafficking, by Elon Musk and the imperialist government of the United States.”
However, the president confirmed that “everyone who messes with Venezuela will dry up, they will dry up and we will triumph again for the stability of the Republican Constitution.”
Denounce criminals on VenApp:
In his speech in front of thousands of persons from the Chavista people, the Bolivarian leader mentioned that a special window of the VenApp page will be opened for the entire Venezuelan population “so that they can confidentially put the data of all the criminals who have threatened the people, who have attacked the people, so that we can go after them, so that there is prompt justice.”
Military and police patrols:
Maduro stressed that the streets have to belong to the people, so that starting this Tuesday and until peace is restored and consolidated in the areas where they disturbed it, he ordered a deployment of military and police patrols in all the cities of Venezuela, as well as street mobilizations of the popular power “to restore peace, tranquility and normality.”
He also reiterated support with financing for those entrepreneurs who are victims of acts of vandalism by criminal organizations that participate in the riots.
Fascist governments:
The head of state rejected the interference of the governments of some countries in the region, and criticized that they are not capable of raising their voices to defend Venezuela’s right to peace and to condemn fascism:
«I say this because the fascist governments of Ecuador, Argentina and others want to re-establish the Lima Group, which we defeated, and it dried up, it disappeared,» he argued.
Maduro also ordered the expulsion of all diplomatic personnel and broke relations with «the fascist governments of the continent.»
Large revolutionary mobilization:
The Dignitary called for a large mobilization this Saturday to celebrate, in Caracas, the victory of peace: «Let’s have a large mobilization and a great concert for peace, I invite all creeds and religions to join in a great prayer, to consolidate, in the streets, this battle for peace.»
“What would happen if one day this fascism took political power in Venezuela?” he asked from the People’s Balcony, and the people responded: “They will not return”.
On the other hand, Maduro called for maintaining nerves of steel, calm, sanity, maximum unity and mobilization of the people, the military and the police under any circumstances. “Starting tomorrow all social sectors and grassroots popular forces must begin a mobilization schedule that must be announced,” he explained.
In this sense, President Maduro reported that this Wednesday, July 31, he will receive the working class at Miraflores Palace: “I await you, all the popular forces, day by day, in order to activate the agenda of commitment that I assumed with the working class, the CLAP, the communes, communal councils, the Great Patriotic Pole.”
