Declaration of duty abandonment is the new strategy of the war agenda

The declaration of duty abandonment by Nicolas Maduro’s office in the Presidency of the Republic, approved yesterday by the opposition bloc in the National Assembly, is not only an unconstitutional action, but also madness, said the Vice President for Territorial Socialism, Aristóbulo Istúriz.

“Using the means of Parliament to carry out a coup d’etat can be valid in Argentina, in Paraguay, where the constitution allows it, but not here, in here the Assembly is not allowed to dismiss the President of the Republic”.

During the “Dando and Dando-Radio” (Taking and Giving-Radio) program, broadcast by RNV Informative channel, Istúriz, accompanied by the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, Blanca Eekhout, said that there are no legal bases to justify this action, as referred in the statement issued on Monday by the Supreme Court of Justice.

In the text, the highest judicial body, called on the national parliament to refrain from taking decisions that are outside the powers of the Constitution of the Republic and recalled that the legislative power is in contempt for ignoring sentences number 260, dated 30 Of December, 2015, and number 1 of January 11, 2016, emanated by the Electoral Room of the TSJ, regarding the candidates elected on December 6, 2015 by Amazonas state.

In Eekhout’s opinion, the proposal, promoted by the Unity bloc, is part of the war agenda and the trap of the empire to declare Venezuela as an outlawed country,  in the face of a military intervention.

He pointed out that this irrational commitment to war and violence has a hold in the global geopolitical space where the business of permanent warfare guarantees not only “new regimes but permanent conflicts such as those in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. Permanent conflict involves destroying nation States and having control over the resources of those countries. “
