The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, rejected on Tuesday the statements issued by Juan Manuel Santos, President of the Republic of Colombia, who through a television interview referred to the nation, stressing that Venezuela “is about to implode. ”

Through his account on the Twitter social network, Maduro stressed that the Colombian President has no authority to refer to this sovereign land.

“In Venezuela, the people is in charge. Santos has nothing to say about our sovereign land. Here we do what our people says”, wrote President Maduro.
