The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, informed on Tuesday that the “Sovereignty and Peace” military exercises will be carried out from September 10 to 28 of the current year.
During the commemoration of the 9th Anniversary of the Bolivarian Military University, the Head of State indicated that these exercises will be carried out on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB).
The maneuvers will have the objective of safeguarding and preserving security and sovereignty throughout the border line with Colombia, said the president.
