Carlos Alberto Boully Gómez, rector of the Santa Rosa Catholic University (UCSAR), sent a message of unity and peace to all Venezuelans on Monday, after the celebration of Christmas, stressing that it is time to put aside any action that separates the Venezuelans.
«Today our people get up early to enjoy the wonderful gift of Baby Jesus, today we should feel happy, meet together as a family, let go of despair and sadness», he said.
He stressed that Jesus Christ has broken into the history of the world, but above all has broken into the history of the people of Venezuela, so he invited to live in 2018 in reflection and change things that have not gone well for a number of purposes from the personal to the collective.
«This 2018 has to be for us a year with strength and reflection, we must make a serious assessment of what has happened, we must change what needs to be changed, not to be frustrated», he added.
During an interview on the «Al Aire» (On Air) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he also invited the university youth to transform and not allow deception. «In the UCSAR we have supported the universities to bet on this line and unite the university force and bet on Venezuela».
