Public Ministry will establish prosecutors and situational chambers to ensure the right to vote on DEC-6

The Public Ministry coordinates with the National Electoral Council (CNE) to appoint Prosecutors and establish situational chambers: one central and several regional ones, in order to ensure compliance with the human right to vote and that electoral crimes are not committed.

This was reported by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, during a participation this Monday in the “Café en la Mañana” (Coffee in the Morning) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

He assured that under his management they have already had the experience of coordinating with the electoral authorities for the organization of elections. “Let us remember that in 2017, our team participated in coordination with the Electoral Power in the regional elections for Governors and the municipal elections for Mayors”.

He argued that the teams of the Public Ministry and the CNE have established respect for all biosafety protocols, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
